Vogue was fortunate that its first star photographer, Cecil Beaton, was entranced by the House of Windsor – and even luckier, perhaps, that the admiration was mutual. This relationship paved the way for successive contemporary photographers to portray royalty in the spirit of the times.”

Kate was discovered aged 14 at JFK airport while returning to England after a family holiday in the Bahamas by Sarah Doukas of the Storm Agency.
In 1995, Kate received the ‘Fashion Personality of the Year’ award and she won the Vogue/VH1 Model of the Year Award in 1996.
